First-Year Students Needed!

This year Kalamazoo College is participating in the Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA+) which measures skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and effective written communication. All first-year students are eligible and encouraged to participate this Fall – students should check their K email for the invitation message or visit studev.kzoo.edu/cla to participate.

As a thank you for your time, the first 100 students who complete the CLA+ will receive $25 in K Cash or Bookstore credit.

NCHA – Student Health Survey

The 2022 National College Health Assessment (NCHA) gathers information from college students on a wide range of health and wellness topics. All K students have an opportunity to participate this year, and data collected from campus participants will inform programs, services, and information provided to students through the Student Health Center, Student Development, and other campus entities.

All students received an email invitation to participate, and QR codes & the survey link are posted around campus. As a small thank you for your time, students who complete the survey will receive a $5 credit on their K ID which can be used at the Richardson Room in Hicks or the Book Club in ULC

Bias Data Gathering System (BDGS) via Human Resources

Do you need to report an incident of bias or receive support?

In an effort to better understand the ways in which community members experience the campus, a pilot Bias Data Gathering System (BDGS) has been developed. The goal of the BDGS is to gather information about the state of the K community, specifically as it relates to bias. The intention of the pilot program is to collect information that will inform campus practices and policies..

We want to hear from you! Please feel free complete the Bias Data Gathering System Form on the Human Resources website to report an incident of bias or receive support.
