Do you have unused meal swipes you’d like to share? Or are you in need of extra support with meals?
If you answered “yes” to either question, please remember that Hungry Hornets, as part of the Basic Needs program at K, allows students to donate meal swipes they won’t use to a meal bank. These donated meals, in turn, are provided to students who may need assistance ensuring adequate nutrition. To donate or to request meals, please complete this online form.
The Hungry Hornets program also has a refrigerator stocked with “to go” meals – these meals are made fresh each day and utilize food otherwise destined for compost. These meals are designed to support students who can benefit from some help meeting daily nutrition needs and are available in the fridge in Hicks 110.
